For a long time, every design decision felt like a coin flip. I’d open Canva, scroll through templates, and try to make something that “looked professional.” But it never felt like mine.

The truth is, guessing doesn’t scale. When your brand is built on scattered decisions, everything takes longer: social posts, website updates, client proposals. You spend more time questioning than creating.

What changed everything

I stopped treating my brand like a DIY project and started treating it like a system. I defined my colors, my fonts, my tone of voice, and my visual direction, not based on trends, but based on what I actually wanted to communicate.

Once I had a clear brand foundation, decisions became automatic. I stopped asking “does this look good?” and started asking “does this feel like me?”
