Flow Club

Flow Club is a conceptual Pilates studio and clothing brand built around movement, rhythm and modern wellbeing. The goal was to create an identity that could feel calm and refined inside a wellness space while remaining distinctive enough to live on activewear, social media and branded merchandise.
Rather than using the predictable visual language often associated with Pilates, the brand combines structured typography with expressive custom lettering. The result feels balanced but never static—reflecting both the control of Pilates and the continuous movement behind the name Flow Club.
The Concept
Flow Club was imagined as more than a place to exercise. It is a lifestyle-led community connecting mindful movement, contemporary studio culture and elevated activewear.
The identity needed to communicate softness and wellbeing without becoming overly delicate or generic. It also had to work across two connected sides of the business: a physical Pilates studio and a fashion-focused clothing line.
Logo Design
The logo balances two contrasting typographic personalities.
The custom lettering created for “flow” has an organic, free-hand character that suggests liquid movement, rhythm and continuous energy. In contrast, “club” uses a grounded geometric structure, giving the identity stability, clarity and confidence.
Together, the two elements express the central idea of the brand: freedom within structure.
A simplified symbol derived from the custom lettering was also developed for smaller applications such as clothing details, labels, social media icons and studio merchandise.
Visual Direction
The visual direction combines calm editorial layouts with tactile surfaces, subtle grain and softly blurred transitions.
Natural forms and images of controlled body movement create a connection between the physical practice of Pilates and the wider lifestyle surrounding it. The system feels minimal, but variations in texture, scale and composition prevent it from becoming cold or overly clinical.
Colour Palette
The palette combines soft butter yellow, powder blue, warm neutrals, muted grey and deep charcoal.
The lighter tones introduce optimism, softness and freshness, while the darker shades give the brand contrast and a stronger visual presence. This creates a flexible system that can move between peaceful studio communication and more confident activewear applications.
Typography
Bold uppercase headings give the identity structure and clarity, balanced by simple, refined body typography that keeps communication approachable and easy to read.
The typographic system was designed to support clean editorial layouts across brand presentations, class information, social content, printed materials and clothing campaigns.
Activewear Extension
The identity was designed to work naturally across a future Flow Club clothing collection.
The primary logo can be used as a confident graphic element, while the simplified symbol offers a more subtle option for garment details, embroidery, labels and accessories. This allows the activewear line to feel connected to the studio without looking like conventional gym merchandise.
Social Media & Content Direction
A flexible content system was developed to support educational posts, movement inspiration, studio updates and community-focused storytelling.
The direction combines archival Pilates imagery, wellness information, modern photography and editorial graphics. This gives Flow Club a recognisable social presence while leaving enough flexibility for different content formats and campaigns.
Brand Experience
Every element was created to make Flow Club feel like a complete lifestyle brand rather than only a Pilates studio.
From the identity and studio materials to social content and clothing applications, the system brings together movement, community and personal wellbeing through one consistent visual world.
